I answered your questions a few posts back. To me the ice wall is definitely not the most important thing in our theory at all. I answered that I have no proof, I have not been there so I do not know. I also stated that if I dropped you on the ice wall, or anywhere for that matter could you draw me a map or know for sure how something looks without seeing it from top down? The average scientists gets dropped off and studies the surrounding area probably not even realizing what something 1000 miles away looks like.

Aside from NASA photos what proof do you have that the earth is round? None - you are putting your trust as I am in something you cannot verify for yourself.

I am still waiting for you to answer why no one has circumnavigated the globe from north to south pole and back up around?

Fair point on why no one has done that, dont know, dont care. I beleive the earth is round from the common evidence around me. Frankly, I dont care if the earth is round, square, rectangle or a trapezoid. As long as it supports our life and it continues to do so, I am happy.

But to continue the discussion, I argue that if you believe the earth is flat and that the ice walls hold in the oceans, that is THE key to your argument. Prove that and all your other arguments fall into place.

I'm in the car waiting for my mother in law so I will be brief. If this earth formed through the evolution theory and debris began sticking to each other forming clumps which turned into a ball because it was spinning around faster and faster why wouldn't the Arctic be a carbon copy of the Antarctic? Everything is spinning and water magically appeared on earth which water moves more easily than land, they should be mirror images of each other but they are not. They work completely different, one is a barren wasteland while the other has life. It just makes no sense logically because we never see anything like this happening.

I thought I explained that.

I think its funny that using your logic is a cop out. What does that say about your own beliefs? I do believe that the size of the sun is so massive that we would not notice a difference until its ready to go out of our view and begins to shrink in size and disappear. I am sorry I do not have a better explanation as I have to research that area a little more. I do believe the sun is close, sun spots on clouds prove to me its close, feeling heat from something 93 million miles away to me doesn't make sense and sounds ridiculous. Even seeing something that far away makes no sense to me. The sun and earth being the same size makes sense (not one being that much bigger and father away that by coincidence they look the same. The same goes for the moon which is supposedly tidally locked into place, another coincidence). Just too many coincidences that could never mathematically happen anywhere ever no matter how many billions of years you allot for it to happen.

Im heading out to the beach now which is at sea level and is pefectly flat. Talk later
1. I thought you would have something to say about not using my logic. :) However, I think I explained my logic and as I said 3 million miles is nothing compared to 93 million miles, actually less than 3%.
2. So now you are saying the sun is massive, when before I do believe you stated it was small and not that far away. Besides, you really don't have to research about the sun not getting bigger in the morning and smaller in the afternoon do to perspective. Just look up in the air, it simply stays the same size all day. Another words, perspective is not working.
3. I am still waiting for a flat earther to show a boat almost completely hidden by the horizon, being brought back into complete view. Please no trickery, no boats almost at the horizon being out of site do to perspective, but rather an actual camera zoomed in on a vessel, watching it go out of site over the horizon, then zoom in more and bringing it back into site.

He did not fly up over the Arctic and come down across Europe and fly down to Antarctica and come up around. No one has done that.
This is the path he took.

A pilot from Fredericksburg, Virginia, has flown around the world in a single-engine airplane on a route down the eastern side of the Americas, over the South Pole, across the Pacific Ocean, up the West Coast of the U.S. to Alaska, over the North Pole, and home.

He might as well have driven from Maine to floridas east coast and come up the west coast and go home. It's BS.

Is this a little better. Starting in San Fran they fly over the North Pole. Then down Europe to Capetown S. Africa over the South Pole to New Zealand before heading home. Capetown S.Africa is directly on the other side of the globe from New Zealand.

So in that case, this pilot should have been able to document the ice wall you use to support your theory.

Flying around the world North to South then back up again. That is real circumnavigation! Where is it? They skirt the poles. But even with military refuel in mid air, where is the direct proof they're able to fly in one circular motion. Literally top to bottom, continuing bottom to North again straight longitude 180'degree line. As far as I'm aware it's never been done. And according to all known physical maps until they do you can't. It's pretending to leave one corner of a football field almost get to center and then back to another corner same side. It's never leaving the players tunnel, across the field out the other side, and then coming back round to where they started out.

Don't agree, they went over both poles, that is not almost the center. The Pan Am flight went from Cape Town S. Africa to Aukland New Zealand by flying over the South Pole. Those 2 places are direct opposites on either side of the globe.

This is not a debate, its a Im right, your wrong and if you dont believe the video shown which provided indisputable proof, then you're an idiot. Other than something to argue about, does it really matter if the earth is flat or round? Does our existence change because of it?

I agree it is turning into something that is becoming fruitless. Does it matter if the earth is flat or round, of course it does, we want to know things like that. Could you imagine human kind not caring about the world that surrounds us. As much as, to me, this has been a ridiculous discussion, I have learned from it.

Not saying i have not learned anything, but my life goes on as normal whether the earth is flat or round. Now, if you tell me that the world will change in 2 years if the earth is flat, I may care. Otherwise, other than general knowledge and curiosity, its not a big deal.

Watched a great documentary called "Last Man on the Moon" about the last Apollo mission. It got me thinking about the theory that the moon landing was faked. Do the conspiracy theortists believe that all moon landings were faked? If so, that is quite the cover up considering all the people who were involved. They must be some liars!
