After years of wanting to pull the trigger but not having all my ducks in a row, I finally was able to buy a condo in Crystal Springs (Sussex County) - technically Hardyston Township very close to Mountain Creek. I've been wanting to move up there since I was younger, always thought it was such a beautiful spot and still within an hour of NYC. Everything is pretty much done, save for some more paperwork that needs to get processed, my closing date is set for 4/14.
I will still be back and forth between my parents house in Queens and the new condo probably for a month or two as settling in will take a while, but this will be a full time primary residence so most of my posts beginning this summer will be from up there. Pumped to see some more strong thunderstorms and heavier snows. Maybe I will bring some good luck, God knows we need it after this winter.

Moving to a colder climate lol Watch Queens get pounded next season with HECS, and flurries in Sussex.
Best wishes. Are you working in NJ now?

congratulations on your upcoming move, hope it all works out for you. You're moving into Trump country too, so that's another plus for you. Give you a break from the crazy liberals heh? Although watch, Crystal Springs will be filled with them. :) Probably not though.

I'm a Sussex boy at heart, even though I'm a few towns away now. Let me know if you're ever looking for good places to hike, or recommendations on some resturants. Also, I've been to the bar at Crystal a few times, although not recently. When you get settled maybe I can swing in and meet you for a beer.

Good luck!
