lol. Last one for me. Will be in Sarasota FL by next year.

Good luck, Orlando area for us. My son is there now (near Daytona Beach) and have been spending quite a bit of time there since he moved down. For the life of me, I cannot understand why I get back on the plane to NJ each time.

CP - Make no mistake it is nicer down there in the winter than here for sure. However I have family in nearby Ormond Beach and have had to provide hurricane track and expected wind force information to them twice in the past two years for Matthew and Irma. You are wise to buy inland near Orlando. I hope your son's residence is up to date with the building codes. The roof of his residence should be able to withstand winds to 130 MPH. My cousin had hers retrofitted and it served her well as winds in her neighborhood reached 100 MPH during Matthew and ripped every tree and shrub out of the ground resulting in the death of a contractor two days later during the clean up. Irma spawned a tornado their community which caused damage in a nearby neighborhood. On the plus side they did a great job and got the power restored quite quickly both times.

It's still a southern NJ event. It does show a slightly stronger system but keeps most precip offshore.

Why are we really hoping for a weak storm to be a nuisance on a weekend?

With the way this one is expected to track there may not be any impacts on the LHV anyway.

Good. Got an Xmas party. And I'm pretty much next on the OT list. Nothing worse then a dusting to ruin your night for a couple hours
