Ok, next...

Light event possible Thursday night.

Upton:
Low pressure then tracks through SE Canada Wednesday night
through Friday.
Overrunning PCPN will be possible late at night
into Thursday morning mainly north and west of the city,
although majority appears to remain NW of the forecast area.
Better chances will come Thu night into Fri with a cold frontal
passage. GFS pcpn field look overdone 18z Thu - 00z Fri based on
sheared energy aloft so have kept probabilities in the chance
range until Thu night.
Most of the pcpn is post-frontal with a
transition from rain to snow from NW to SE as the cold air works
in behind it.
Light snow accumulations are expected.

GFS shows potential. Not blockbuster type storms but definitely several systems with some potential. Also with rain/snow lines so looks to favor N & W at this point.

Subject to change but for Super Bowl night, the 12z GFS shows 3" of snow for my area to start, followed by a lot of rain. Yuck if it's right.

I read on another board that the first 10 days of February is not looking good, the MJO is sticking a thumb in old man winter's eye for now. At least the rain will wash off some of the salt off my car.
