It looks like this event will be more of a reality. But where will the snow/rain line setup? still plenty of time to determine the outcome

Heard Northwest New Jersey and my area in Pennsylvania might see some accumulating snows too early to tell but some say 3 to 6 possibly 4 to 8

No. Models have a warm slug of air and mostly rain for everyone including the Poconos. Unless things change, looks wet.

For down here, Upton portrays Sunday as Light accumulation Sunday morning, then rain all day, and back to light accumulation Sunday night.

January 17, 2018 - 1.0 inches [dense snow] (clipper/coastal, rain to heavy snow)

February 7, 2018 - 0.6 inches [heavy snow to rain] (WAA)
February 17, 2018 - 4.6 inches [heavy wet snow, four hours, intense rates]

Pattern seems to be, cold spell, rain/snow, cold spell, rain/snow....reminds me of the bad old days of the 1980s.
Same scenario is forecasted for next Wednesday.
Jet stream needs to nudge a little further south for us to get all snow.
You guys up north may see some snow in this pattern, but maybe not quality snowfalls.

No deep troughs. Storms are too west to east and turn northeast to our west or right over our area resulting in rain or mix. This pattern seems to be in place for the first part of February.

winter might be over for the coast lol, they had there fun in the beginning of January
