How cold? Cold this time of year is 30s/40s. Very difficult to get daytime temps below freezing. I don't ever remember a daytime high below freezing in April, very rare indeed.

In Central Park, the the mean temp fort the month of March was 40.1 degrees. It was 42.0 for February. Crazy.
