Euro ensembles this afternoon showed some big hits possible. Models have been trending NW. Even Upton mentions they expect models to show more West trends but won’t change their forecast just yet.

I like this storm for the northeast

+PNA
-NAO
-AO
Nao and AO are rising so thus shouldn't be shunted to the south. There will always be timing issues with the northern stream and southern stream jet that the models are trying to resolve.

From what I heard there is what's called a Rex Block in place. This is where high-pressure and low-pressure underneath it set up and cause the storm to stay south. We need that the breakdown in order for the storm to come up the coast. Still time, If not I think the fat lady starts to sing.

Would he be a tool if he said the storm was going to move North and not out to sea? Probably not.....

This one has all the makings of staying south. People are digging for models that take it more north. Seems like either an ULL feature or norlun trough should result in some widespread precip, though not heavy.

Bring it on baby, the more snow the better. More snow means more overtime!!! winter is the only time that I can get overtime. So, bring it on baby
