How does this lift not have a fail safe? This is always my fear when on the lifts at Mountain Creek. Lol. Towards the end of the vid you can see the chairs detaching from the lift and slamming into the gondola. Unbelievable.

Looks like a typical Action Park ride...


Jokes aside it looks the the safety brakes failed, letting gravity along with the weight of the people on the chairs do the work
