I thought last storm was going to be the finale but after I took a look at a few things , next week will be the grand finale if a storm materializes.

Nao is currently negative and will trend positive by next week

PNA is negative and will be positive next week.

AO and EPO are tanking but will respond by next week

The last storm was a monumental bust so after consulting my wild imagination I am conjuring up hope for another snowstorm to ruin baseball opening week even though the forecast shows temps in the mid 50's. Because when you wish upon a star....

It was a bust for your area but not for others. Don't pollute this thread.

I guess we haven't learned that storms dictate temps and not vice versa. If the storm is not part of the forecast the temps will reflect that.

That's not going to happen. Gfs is an outlier with the mild temps. Euro and cmc are alot colder.

No it was a monumental bust of a forecast for the entire area. This is an established fact backed up by evidence. Whimsy is only useful in advance. Once the facts are on the ground (and that's pretty much all that was on the ground including Brooklyn) you cant hide from them.

Everybody I know in Brooklyn said the "storm" was a total joke. That the hysteria was ridiculous. They closed school in anticipation and got nothing and then when you claim there was this big deal overnight they left them opened the next day. If such a big deal then why? You know why, because it wasn't a big deal. It was a bust.
