I always remember sweating bullets in school. Never had AC.

We used to turn off classroom lights to believe it will be cooler. And we all fought for who had the desk next to the fan. Over privileges is ruining the basics

Forecasters really aren't that good. For at LEAST 3 days, they have been calling for a rainy Saturday. Today, barely a drop. Because of their 80% chance of showers and thunderstorms, I lost a couple $100 of dollars.

Guys, are we looking at a 10-12 day 90F+ heat wave, starting on Thursday or Friday?

The GFS locks the ridge in for about a week. After that it starts to break down. We’ll see. Either way looks like an impressive heat wave for all.

The very hot temps have cooled off on the models. We are now looking at upper 80s to low 90s.

Still a huge ridge on the GFS. Definitely a string a 90 deg days and probably mid 90s at least. Book ended by days in the upper 80s. And this is for Sussex.

This is the time of year. I don't like super heat but this is the 4 seasons. Also I wouldn't mind 90's for July 4th

Sussex may actually be hotter than a lot of the coastal plain. Ocean still in the 60's.

At work now in Middletown NY (I work the graveyard shift) and we're getting an impressive lightning show from out the window.

True yeh. Ocean temps seem cooler so far. I was in OBX last week and the water was low to mid 70s. It's usually warmer actually.
