Tremendous amount of rain and thunderstorms in last 2 hrs. Worst looking at sky seems to be south of me. North, looks like sun might be still out.

It looks like your in for a poopload of rain if one of those things develops overhead. They're barley moving, and then can redevelop over the same area.

Meanwhile Stowe VT is in the 90s. Bet that doesn't happen too often.

Disappointing rainfall with this front passage. I hoped for a decent rainfall so the lawn would not go dormant.
No rain is forecasted until Wednesday/Thursday.

Forgot to mention a cool weather thing. On 4th of July, as I was swimming, we heard rumbles of thunder to our east. I figured we will be alright. About an hour later, that heavy storm drifted West over us. Checked the radar and and saw the cell moving west. First time I ever saw that. Dumped a bunch of rain in a local area. Had to of have some hail that melted on way down, the rain drops were huge, about the size of quarters

rangers - The cells were meandering over parts of Jersey that way too, drifting southwestward.

Drought conditions are showing up north of our area. My guess is, based on the 10-day forecast, that coverage area will come further south into our area. How quickly things change. Careful what you wish for.
