Expecting a good 2-4" rain here over the next few days with 6"+ possible in the mountains. Haven't had to do that much watering this summer and it hasn't been super hot especially lately so that's good.

Yes July has been particularly rainy and humid. Very tropical. Looks like another few days. Hopefully Aug can dry out.

Homestretch of the summer

Always feels like from Memorial Day to 4th of July doesn't go by too fast. However, after the 4th, the rest of summer seems to fly by at the the speed of light.

I give Charlie props for moving to Fl.
I would never go. I can't imagine stifling humidity like this most of the year.

I've been daydreaming of cooler air, leaves changing color, etc. In fact I did not enjoy this summer at all. Lately I've been liking the summer less and less.

Kinda funny that this topic comes up just about annually since the ABC board days. I still like fall the best, followed by spring, winter and with summer picking up the rear. Weathergeek, with you in having fall further and further to the back of the pack.

Especially up here. Past few days it's rained 4-5 times a day with sun in between like a Sauna

I left my nutribullet cup outside on the deck and have been away from home for a few days.
I came back yesterday and it was practically filled up to the top. That's like 7" of rain. Of course that is not to scale but just shows how much water we've gotten.
