God damn rain

Ahh that shower that popped up over Raritan Bay must have survived on it's trek to BK.

Total blown forecast for NYC today. They were calling for 90% chance of rain on Saturday for Sunday. I was watching Amy Freeze carry on about how the weekend was a washout. Today we blew past the forecast high of mid 70's and rain to end up with partly cloudy and very warm.

Another deluge today. One of the rainiest periods I can remember. Any brown spots in the grass that we had in June are long gone. Green and lush rainforest here. Hopefully this will equate to a vibrant fall foliage.
By the way - tremendous rainfall rates right now. It is pouring as a band swings through.

So weird to see this massive, what I think is a ULL, sitting and spinning over the mid Atlantic and northeast in August.

I guess this is the best time to be flooded with heat and humidity; better now so that when winter comes it'll likely go the opposite direction.

Very wet pattern we are in right now

With the exception of 4 weeks in July, its been the pattern since February. Law of averages says we are due for an extended dry period.

Would be great to get into a dry period from labor day and beyond to Christmas. Nothing like a mild dry autumn.
