I wonder if they are changing due to stress from so much rain.

It's normally this time of year to see trees changing in. The ones you see now are the stressed trees that aren't as healthy. The swamps will also start showing color.

Yeh even down here there are lots of leaves on the ground and some trees have color. Totally normal and has nothing to do with cooler temps.

I see some leaves falling, but it is due to disease/insects. It is premature to leaves to fall now.

This can definitely be classified as a nasty day. Rain, 60 degrees and winds gusting to 30mph.

The fog outside my deck right now is very thick.
This dreary rainy weather is ridiculous, but the grass and everything is so green.

Looking at a good stretch of weather after we get through today. Late September/early October can provide some of the best weather we get all year around here.

We've been stuck in this wet pattern since March, except for that 4-5 week stretch in July. I guess it has to change at some point.

The humidity has been awful. Today was terrible. It's starting to dry out a little here but still feels gross. I want dry 50's.

I don't miss the lack of sun up there. Yes the sun is brutally strong down here June-Sept but even on a 'cloudy' day we manage to get breaks of sun.

I seem to remember the beginning of the week the forecast was beautiful for Wednesday and Thursday. nice Friday but warming up with humidity returning and no rain. maybe 20% on sunday evening.

yesterday was meh, was expecting nice breezy low humidity type day.
today dreary.
tomorrow to weekend TBD?

another blown forecast?

It's officially autumn.
Couple more months to snow potential.
