Surprised nobody brought up how the NFL season is back. Interesting storylines for both NY teams. Jets start their chapter with rookie QB Sam Darnold (Whom I believe has tremendous potential to be great). The NY Giants have a rookie sensation RB Saquon Barkley to pair with QB Eli Manning and WR Odell Beckham Jr is returning after a major injury early last season. As for the NFC side I believe itís the most loaded Iíve ever seen. Thereís literally 6 NFC Teams I wouldnít be surprised if they made the Super Bowl. Rams, Eagles, Falcons, Vikings, Packers and Saints. Iím still rolling with my Eagles at the top of the NFC. But the Rams and Falcons definitely make me nervous as a threat to dethrone the defending champs.

It's like Christmas morning to me. Between that and fantasy football I love it. Just wish all the nonsense controversy would go away.

I'll of course pay attention to the game tonight...but there's nothing like Sundays at 1pm during football season. I'm hoping for a big-time bounce back season for the Giants.

Giants fans should feel good even though they lost to a good Jaguars team. Odell is back, Saquon looks like a gem, Evan Engram has a potential at TE with a good defense. I believe the Giants finish 11-5/10-6 & contend for a playoff spot. Especially if they get their LT problems fixed. The OL line has to hold up (Ereck Flowers is a free gap to the QB). Eli Manning has the setup to have a good year. The Eagles, Redskins and Giants are all teams in the NFC East I could see finishing 10-6 or better. Honestly everyone talks about the Redskins being the “baby brother” of the NFC East. But Alex Smith is a low turnover QB and effective with a rejuvenated Adrian Peterson And young defense. I can see them sneaky up on teams in the NFC.

Saqoun looked like a gem? He had one great run due to poor tackling. Every other run was a 2 yard average. Eli had very little time to throw, and when he did, no receivers were open

He still had 106 yards rushing with a TD. You have to remember the Jaguars have a elite defense too they don’t allow teams to move the ball with any consistency. They were in the AFC Championship Game for a reason going toe-to-toe with the Patriots. Honestly many will disagree with me but Jacksonville had NE’s number 80% of that game. Back to the main story, the Giants looked improved.

Improved? Well yea you can't get any worse then last season. Almost every drive stalling for a punt or FG. Last drive of first half they were gifted two long first downs from pass interferences. Yet they only got a FG

Can you say bye bye Eli 👋 EAGLES !!!
I can say giants have a hell of a running back but time to sit Eli itís already to late.

That was as “must-win” as it gets early in the season for the Eagles. Hard to gauge if that was a huge wake up from the team or was it just awful Giants? Anywho 10 days rest before facing a good Panthers team.

Agree it was a must win.The biggest take away for me is Carson is getting better and better he has such potential to be one of the greats. You can see and feel such a level of confidence rising with every game.
Being born and raised in philly I have never missed a game lol.and I remember some horrible years and listening to my dad screaming at the tv . It is not only nice to have finally won the big one but to see a quarterback with such poise, and leadership itís a breath of fresh air.😁

I'm not a Giants fan. But you can't blame Eli. Poor guy is running for his life almost every play with the terrible O-line. He's connected on several deep balls this season when he has time to throw. I don't know how everyone expects him to make an accurate throw down the field in under 3 seconds

Agree about o line, but he is still done. I think they were stupid not to get a good young quarterback in the draft instead of a running back. They have to many holes and Eli is now pushing 40 He could have been grooming a new quarterback.its business and they are waiting way to long......

I agree. Their issues are beyond Eli & Odell.

Going by the eye test so far this year. I like the Kansas City Chiefs to get to the Super Bowl from the AFC side. So much potential on the offensive side. Patrick Mahomes is a phoenominal young QB with weapons around him. I see a Rams/Chiefs Super Bowl upcoming unless something miraculous changes.

Eagles made a HUGE trade. Acquiring a Pro Bowl WR in Golden Tate from the Lions. Pairing him with another Pro Bowl WR in Alshon Jeffrey and Pro Bowl TE Zach Ertz makes this a difficult offense to cover. Not to mention deep threat Nelson Agholor is a stud. Carson Wentz is a rising young stud QB that just got another top notch target. Man, I’d say the Eagles even at 4-4 just became a dark horse to come out of the NFC.

Eagles are trying to keep up with the Rams. It's a painful time to be a Giants fan but we still have our 4 SB's. BTW don't overlook the Panthers, although they would have trouble winning in Philly or LA.

The only reason I don’t trust the Panthers is they don’t have a consistent reliable passing attack. Their WR’s are below average. To be honest the Rams and Eagles are built very similar. Both teams remind me of each other and would be a good matchup. But to be honest right now the best NFC team is the Saints.

The Chargers have quietly won 5 straight and sit at 6-2. They may be a quiet dark horse AFC Team. With games against the Raiders, Broncos and Cardinals they could easily be 9-2. The question is are they a real threat to the Patriots or Chiefs in the AFC?
