They got Cano and Diaz and today they signed Wilson Ramos to a 2year deal worth 19 million.

I like these acquisitions. Plus the GM quoted as saying “We’re the East favorites we have more spending money”. Makes one optimistic about the future. But I refuse to place any real expectations. We still have holes at a couple of lineup spots. I’m curious to see what 1B Peter Alonso does. His defense has been criticized but many are raving about his power potential.

I just got back from Port St Lucie. I was there for a week with my friends This was my 1st time ever going to spring training and it was a great experience. I met a lot of players and took a lot of pictures and got autographs.

Honestly, I always hear people say where the expect the Mets to be. I’ve been hearing around 80-85 wins. To me I just want to see the development of the younger players as the season goes on. Durability to me has been the KEY detriment to this team. I’m looking forward to going to a couple of games this year. Hopefully it ends with at least a Wild Card appearance.
