I don't normally post here, but have been reading this forum for a good many years and have come to respect and appreciate the knowledge that so many of you have. However, Don Draper, I honestly find your obsession with Amy Freeze to be creepy and your comments vulgar and unnecessary. Can we just stick to discussing the weather? I know I can just scroll by your comments, but this is a weather forum, not a locker room.

Meh it's fine. I don't find anything wrong with his posts.

I follow JB on Twitter. On Twitter he seems to have morphed into a conservative commentator as much as anything. He is also a big time Trump guy.

This current DP map shows a cool front now reaching central PA. Some of us may hit 60 F before the front comes through after noontime.

Temp rose here last night itís 68 now with the sun out. Generally itís been damp and cloudy though. I would say the last month or two has been the worst stretch of weather in the 4 years weíve been down here.

Yesterdayís gfs looked great for cold in the long range. Today it doesnít. Itís pretty much a lock that the first half of winter will not turn out well for snow lovers (winter meaning dec-feb). Time to hold out hope for the second half.

Hope it stays basically snowless. We are due for a dud winter. Too many people are spoiled past 15 years. Although it is a comedy show on other forums, people having meltdowns worse then my 3 year old nephew

That’s why I stay away from all those other boards. People care too much and take the weather personally. People on the coast are definitely spoiled. For inland people snowfall has generally been closer to normal I feel like overall.

I was down in Greenville SC over the weekend visiting family and you have described the weather there exactly. Saturday was fairly nice with temperatures in the 60ís. We were in Asheville on Friday where they had historic flooding. Many roads under water.

I think we are due for many. Only 3 KU storms between 1971 and 1987. Many weenies think we are supposed to get multiple ones each winter.

Exactly. There was only one storm over 10" at CPK from 1979/80 to 1992/93.
Trivia question: When was that one storm? It was a big one.

We will get a good share of snow when the pattern changes.

Sounds like you are sure that if it changes it will be cold and snowy. How do you not know it won't be cold and dry

It would not surprise me at all that the pattern changes for about 2-3 weeks and then flips back to near what it is now. Another words the west which is cold and snowy gets their break for a few weeks while we freeze and then it goes back.
