Not for nothing but I was at the supermarket earlier and the lines were ridiculously long. Many people were saying there was a big storm coming tonight lol. Part of me wanted to tell them tonight was going to be no more than inch but kindly minded my business lol. Media driven hype. I laugh to myself because these same people will come back on Saturday morning to buy the rest of the milk eggs and bread.

People hear snow and its almost like theyre conditioned to assume that were getting buried.

About 1/2 inch on the ground. Light snow with a gentle breeze. Looks to continue for about an hour, with this light batch of snow drifting through central and south Jersey.. Looks nice lol

This one was perfectly predicted by the weather outlets.

Yes this was 1 of 2 "wallops" that were expected to "hit the "area"..LOL... what a doozy... News this morning had a reporter in Mahwah standing on route 17... all was clear and road was damp... he had to tell his cameraman to pan across the street to a car dealership so we can "see the coating of snow" on the cars.....WOW!!! Mets should be embarrassed for the hype for "STORM NUMBER 1".....

With all the failures of TV Mets, I am surprised people still believe the hype they sell. Blizzards, shutdown storms, stay indoor storms are rare. Even when they materialize, main roads are back to normal in 24-36 hours. I guess its todays media driven world.

My favorite is the reporter standing in a pile of snow or flooded area. Why do they feel the need to climb a mountain of plowed snow or wade into flooded water? Just explain its bad.
