I hope im not overstepping here starting banter thread but needed a place to vent, For people who like snow this season has been awful. I do enjoy tracking storms but ..if you track 5 or 6 storms you want one of those to yield snow ..My gut says still time left to get at least one 10 plus storm NYC..and few smaller events..time will tell ..

It's amazing how the coastal areas can't even get a light snowfall.

Pretty sad

There is a chance that the arrival of extremely bitter Arctic air will spawn frontal wave cyclogenesis in the Carolinas mid-week and churn up a big storm for the northeast. Just a chance for now but something to watch.

Seems to me there has been plenty to watch for the past 4 weeks. They simply didn’t turn out to be snow for this area. If you want to only track storms that are garaunteed to produce snow, that’s a different story. Most people always say they “love tracking storms”.

Winter blew it's load early. And when it came time to perform it has come up limp.

This hobby is not for the faint of heart, anyone looking for snow this year has been painfully disappointed..the only silver lining is in my eyes 4 to 5 weeks to try and squeak out one decent snow fall...but as always time will tell ..

While we are all below average with snowfall, much of the midwest (Kansas City, Chicago, Minneapolis, e.g.) and Great Lakes region are above average, not to mention out west.
In fact, there is a blizzard streaking through the midwest this week. FD

Pathetic winter for sure. Good news is that my snowblower will be set to go for next winter, bad news is that allergy season is around the corner will be wicked this upcoming spring.
