Yes and I agree with them because of the mjo but if it's get stuck in the cold phases then all bets are off lol

I never said that, I just mentioned it was a lame winter and then March came and winter decided to show up. In my other post following that comment I mentioned that this years weather pattern is different than last years.

Not sure where you get that last year is now the standard.

Some light snow tonight with a coating to an inch for most before a change to sleet and freezing rain. Northern NJ well north of I287 and SE NY especially north and west of the Tappan Zee could get 1-3.

In order for the Mid Atlantic and Northeast to see frozen precip from the midweek storm, we need the storm to eject faster instead of delaying the precip. 0z Euro and 6z Euro and EPS were steps in the right direction.

Was just next to Stewart airport right in I84. Snow to start, very quickly went to sleet
