This one will be for the Sussex and northern Passaic guys along with the LHV crew primarily to the north of the Tappan Zee. For the rest of us maybe a coating to an inch in some places - a garbage event if you will.
Bethlehem, PA is 80 miles west of NYC

Seems like it keeps getting incrementally shifted to the north.
Crazy thing is what the 0z NAM is doing with the Friday morning event which would be mainly south and west of the city.

I noticed this message on NJDOT highway signs this morning.
"Northern half of New Jersey, light snow Monday today"
That's depressing that it's only Monday. I thought today was Wednesday.

We have had a steady light snow now for 2 hours. Everything non-paved is coated. I thought this was supposed to be for later. Hmmm.

Its stopped now, and much of it has already melted, even with temps up here only in the 20s. I guess the higher sun angle of late February is already making a big difference.

Thats it for me, NWS lowered totals to 1-3 inches. All the precip is in Northern Dutchess and points north. Even future radar doesn't have snow coming into my area. Another blown forecast, cant get it right a day out. Been lightly snowing since 11 but nothing but a light dusting and its over.

Earlier today had a steady light snow at 19 degrees. Frozen ground, but no accumulation, even on parked cars. Sun angle noticeably stronger

A dusting of snow on the north shore of Long Island this morning. Sunday night and Monday may be one of our best chances this winter for a decent snow, still uncertainty. A little off subject but weather related----Mt. Washington recorded its highest February wind speed ever, 171mph. Rapid City N.D. had its coldest February on record. This winter has been brutal in the upper midwest and upper Great Lakes area.
Eastern Nassau County, Long Island
