High of 76F so far at Sussex Airport.
Sun is in and out but it is breezy.
All windows open, airing out the house after a long winter.

Cold next week combined with a coastal on Wednesday looks to be too far east right now.

Models in good agreement with a powerful storm off our shores about Wednesday. Something to watch as it is close enough that any change west could be interesting.

Believe it or not we may see a mix down here tonight. The models actually show some heavy moisture over me. With temps in the upper 30s maybe it will bring down a decent amount of cold air. Could be a little interesting.

Going to opening day at Citi Field. I hate the weather down there this time of year. No idea how to dress in the early spring , it's either sunny and warm, or cloudy and blustery. Weather forecasts are unreliable

I remember going to opening day where temps were in the 40s. That was brutal.

I'm in Charlotte, NC. Snowed hard enough to whiten the grass.

Where?

I remember going to Shea Stadium in middle of May. Rain delay until 945pm, temperatures upper 30s and drizzle all game. Absolutely brutal. Anyone who stayed received free tickets to another game

I had a similar situation there Memorial Day weekend. Low 40s with rain/drizzle. It was miserable. For whatever reason, that location (Shea / Citi field) always seems colder than everywhere else. I can leave my house (in Queens) and it will be nice an warm. Get there and it feels 20 degrees colder. My brother works security there. He says the rule of thumb amongst the guards, is that the long johns stay in their lockers until July.

Few spots near Monroe (Union county) NC had 1.7. So basically just SE of Charlotte. I would think Rock Hill or just south would have gotten in on that band but I have not heard.

Growing up in Flushing I can attest to that. The worst spring weather. Often times even in June you get cool breezes off the water which often comes with low clouds and drizzle. Not fun. Spring down there is generally miserable. Sometimes all you have to do is go up to the Bronx and there is a different feel to the air.
