Yanks starting off with a wimper, at 2-4.
They struck out 18 times yesterday.
Bunch of injuries already, hopefully their depth with pay off. FD

Yanks are 11 of 15 teams in runs-scored.
Team ERA is good though; 4th of 15 teams, with a 2.50 ERA. FD

Yanks woke up!

15 runs on 15 hits yesterday.

Sanchez hit three homers, Frazier two, 7 in all; and German is pitching well.

Long season. They’ll be fine. Mets started 11-1 last year and look what happened.

Haha, true.
Yanks have good depth: Frazier, LeMahieu, Wade, Romine.

Yanks need to fire their Strength and Conditioning staff. Too many similar soft tissue injuries that directly correlate to conditioning programs.

Improbably, the Yanks had just won 7 in a row, and 8 of the last 10, with a banged-up roster.

To be fair , they were playing crappy teams.

True, but if Yankee scrubs can beat other teams' starters, that's a positive thing.
The key is to "stay in it" until the best players return. FD

Thankfully, it is paying off. Yanks 8 of their last 9. Exciting to watch.

Yank win 11-5, sweep Giants. Have won 9 of the last 10.
Sanchez is hot. Two long homers in two days.
Two more players injured, hopefully minor.

Yanks hot again with three in a row, after losing 3 of 4. Nice comeback from 4-1 last night.

Well, so much for the "Yankees are 0-5 against teams with winning records" narrative when the homestand started. MIN and SEA both had winning records and SEA was the darling team of April. Good test in TB this weekend.

Yanks come back from 6-1 deficit to win it 10-7; in the 9th on a homer by Gary Sanchez. Granted, against the worst pitching staff in the league, but I'll take it. FD

ps - Bullpen was great, but bad news is that Happ was not sharp.

Yanks are 13-3 since May 5. Now in first place.
Beating up on the hapless Orioles with six in a row.

Yankees have the best record in majors. 64-33. Kinda hard to think how they don’t get to the World Series at this point.

Do the Yankees have a plan to fix their pitching staff? Doesn't seem like they think its a problem.....
