Yesterday went from 78 around 3pm down to the 50's only a few hours later once the winds shifted directions. This pattern sucks.

Soaker tomorow for the NYC area and many other places.

The NAO doesn't want to go positive.

I just got back from Venice, FL.
Hot HOT week down there. I was not ready for it. Towards the end of the week I finally was getting used to it, and now I'm home and it's in the 50's and raining.

Was a beautiful morning with deep blue skies, but as usual, it only lasts a mere couple of hours. Now a thick, dark overcast (that wasn't in the forecast). One full day of clear skies - let alone 2 or more in a row - has been impossible to come by.

Cool, but dry, now with the frontal passage.
Skies are clearing. FD
