We'll have to watch the radar today to see if any strong lines form. Looks clear so far but the afternoon heating is coming. TWC has us in the high risk zone and it has gotten pretty warm here this morning.

Spring-like showers moving in now. Nothing major. Radar to our west looks quiet

I don't think we have the daytime heating to fire off anything impressive today. I could be wrong. It's overcast and breezy here, temp 76.

Pretty sharp cold front, as can be seen by dewpoints and wind direction.

It's going to be a crisp day and night - Lows in the 40s are forecast up here tonight after a high of only 68.
It's in the low 40s in parts of Sussex County now, including 42 at Walpack.

Walpack is 33 this morning. A few other upper 30s readings being reported in NW NJ. I wonder if there is frost anywhere.

Today is day 24 of no rain here. You can see smoke in the sky from the wildfires in Canada. But a wet pattern is setting up tomorrow through Monday.

Beautiful 57 here now

A day like this is pure weather perfection. Cool morning, warm afternoon, with light winds and low humidity. I'll take 365 of these a year.

Soon enough, we'll be crying that it has been hot and dry, and that our lawns have browned-over. lol

No we don't. Less rain would be good, but not no rain.
On another note, aside from that first day of events last Tuesday, it seems the severe threats since then have been greatly exaggerated.
