How come the Pacific  keeps messing up the pattern ? It's so friggin annoying.

Another year where many people went above normal snowfall might be down the drain.

All the cold temps forecast by the TWC for the next 10 days have been replaced by 40’s to near 50 for me. That sucks.

Bigger ocean has the more influence. We can tell, you and many others are spoiled from the 2000s winters

No doubt the past 10-15 years were big snow years, especially for the coast. Snowlovers better hope things don't even out, or it could be a long below average snowfall period, especially for the coast. Of course I got tired of dealing with 12-18 inch snowstorms with the smaller snow blower I had. Bought a nice new one and much bigger in 2018,haven't used it yet.

Great weather. Took the kids fishing yesterday and tonight Santa is going to be sliding down Amy Freeze magnificent chimney and stuffing her stockings with a huge candy cane. She cant wait for him to come with his big sack.

I'm not an expert but I really don't see much winter in the east on the models. Of course things can change and there can always be one-off events. If you really like good snow you should head out west that's the bottom line.

Things look bleak for people wishing for SNOW...but ...im an eternal optimist..Instead of seeing a cup half empty I rather call it half full ..DESPITE the pathetic snow total for NYC thus far under 6 inches...my gut tells me things are gonna change..All it takes is one nice storm Lets say a 12 to 15 in type of event and this will truly shake things up. Now will this happen not sure but could it maybe.. time will tell..

Steve Dimartino posted on twitter how he is getting  threats because this winter has been awful.

He isnt the only one who is getting bashed for their winter forecast.  Plenty of meteorologists  are also getting the same thing.
