Only thought I have is that March is probably when we pay the piper for the mild Jan/Feb.

This month is toast, pattern is just plain horrible. I have no confidence for March, MJO and the SE ridge will combine to put a dagger into old man winter. Btw record warmth in parts of Colorado (Denver hit 74) yesterday. I would not mind seeing some of that warmth spread east.

And the models aren't even giving any false hope down the line anymore. You can pretty much forget imo. Of course you can always have a one-off, even something big if everything comes together perfectly.

I wouldn't give up on snow chances especially inland with a negative epo developing.

Well it's winter there will always be snow chances especially inland. It's hard to trust any EPO predictions at this point. Even if it goes positive it doesn't seem to last long at all.
