CDC estimates that influenza has resulted in between 9 million – 45 million illnesses, between 140,000 – 810,000 hospitalizations and between 12,000 – 61,000 deaths annually since 2010. (Big guestimate range ain't it?)

Imagine if they tested for influenza as much as Covid? Infections would be stratospheric BUT many like me just sit home for a few day and get better.

Covid is less deadly and your survival rate is higher than influenza but they have to cook the books on deaths stoke fear in everyone so they can ultimately steal the election.

What is your source for COVID being less contagious than the flu? I can only speak anecdotally, but COVID ran through my wife's family like Usain Bolt running the 100m. My brother in law got it, passed it to my sister in law and her son. She passed to my mother in law, who passed it to my brother in law. My brother in law passed it to his wife. within 5 days, 6 people were COVID positive. I'd argue that its highly contagious when in close contact. There are plenty of people I know who get the flu and dont pass it on to household members. COVID seems the opposite

I wonder if Mika has called out Gavin Newsome or Lori Lightfoot or Nancy Pelosi or the mayor of Austin TX or any other hypocrite Democrat gasbag who sets rules for others but not for themselves. Wrong is wrong, but at least the WH is not locking a nation down and holding in person events. But if you are a hypocrite like Mika, its hard to see hypocrisy.

Im sorry, In meant less deadly (the survival rate for children is 99.9% and adults 20-65 is 99.8%). In regards to contagion my entire family got influenza last year - all except my wife and we are 5 altogether. HALF of our entire school district was out with the flu early last year. Over half our our friends and neigbors had it as well. I think the flu is equally as contagious as covid19, hell i remember as a kid we all got chicken pox at the same time. So whats the point? Its a virus- it knocks you down and you fight it off. This pandemic is a hoax and many (albiet quite late) are starting to recognize the manufactured fear. Stop watching mainstream media and research yourself unless you happy with the BS your ingesting daily. This "pandemic" is an insult to the word pandemic in which the WHO reclassified the definition of what a pandemic is.

When you are sick with a cold or flu and become in contact with everyone, I'm willing to bet almost all will test positive. The factor is some will fight off the virus before infection. Some will become infected but show no symptoms. And some will become infected and show symptoms. Basically it means if you test the population for a cold, it will be just as contagious

Also since your body remembers past infections and how to fight them, if you were infected with a similiar novel corona virus previously it lessens your chances of contracting Covid19. John Hopkins released a study and had it pulled down because it was showing how the numbers of corona patients were artificially inflated (otherwise known as FRAUD). I am trying to locate it. I have also heard that in the study it was saying how more people died in 2018 than we are on track for in 2020. The world has been hoodwinked.

Consider the following figures- US Total deaths by year per CDC:

2013: 2,596,993
2014: 2,626,418
2015: 2,712,630
2016: 2,744,248
2017: 2,813,503
2018: 2,839,205
2019: 2,855,000
2020: as of 11/14 total deaths= 2,512,880

At present the US is experiencing a 1.12% increase in overall mortality rates for 2020- not good- pandemicky numbers to be sure.

However, last year, 2019, there was also a 1.12% increase. Did we miss a pandemic in 2019?

But wait it’s even "scarier"- 2018 saw a 1.22% increase in mortality rates, 2017 saw a 1.24% increase, 2016 1.27% increase, 2015 1.27% increase, 2014 1.29% increase- all exceeding 2020’s increase in mortality rate- so does this mean we have had pandemics for the last 7 years?

Does this indicate non-stop pandemics every year for the last 7 years and we just weren’t paying attention and didn’t have an 'honest" media to keep us pinned to our beds in a proper state of fear?

And BTW 2013 all the way back to 2009 all showed .09% increases in mortality rates- don’t know where the cutoff is but certainly even these years were “pandemic like” if you feel this year was truly a pandemic.

Why is it that Democrats want to control people a d Republicans want to let people make choices?
