Next few nights will bring some cooler nighttime lows. Cooler areas well north and west will see the 40s.

This sounds miserable to me at this time of year. 95 and humid in Florida is pretty miserable too, but I prefer it to 40's.

In the city, we only got down as far as the mid 60s a couple of nights - almost a 20 degree difference less than 50 miles apart (effin' heat island effect). Was nice while it lasted. Humidity has returned today.

we've been in the upper 50s at night. That's not that cool but it's funny that's it's quite a bit cooler than NYC.

Some people said there entire building shook, most people felt nothing. 3.1 is very mild. Probably some people felt it but didn't know it was a quake, probably thought it was a truck going by or something.

at 2am, a mild quake like that wouldn't wake many people up

I could be next. It's been dry lately. Upper 40s coming this weekend though.

I caught the weather on the local news last night and the weather man said "some relief over the weekend....Saturday's high is 89 and Sunday is 87". I wont see 40s until January
