LA NINA? HOW will this affect our weather pattern going forward? Any thoughts?

Just for the heck of it, I just looked at the last dozen or so Nino/Ninas. Looking at NW NJ snow totals, you seem to do better in Nina years. El Nino tends to be noticeably less however every once in a while it can go crazy (09-10, mod Nino). Of course intensity matters. Weak Nino's haven't been good lately however weak Nina's have been decent for snow.

Looks like a decent hit of rain coming later and overnight tonight. Hopefully itís still early enough in the fall foliage season where we donít lose too many leaves

It was a picture perfect day yesterday here. Sunny and mid 70s. And now a sunny mild morning. Definitely not ready for cooler weather and then eventually winter
