29 when I left work and 27 when I got home.
Interesting how it always seems to be a few degrees colder at my house compared to work, and work is 40 minutes north of my house lol

That describes what fell here. I picked up an inch on grass and deck surfaces with less on paved surfaces.

had not looked at any models for a long time, but just took a look at the 6z GFS....looks like a couple of potential events to monitor. Granted, mostly fantasy at this point, but something to keep an eye on.

Synoptics favor snow inland and mixed precip along the coast for now. Many model runs to go and much can change over the next several days.

Actually we have a negative NAO and AO in place. The only thing is the epo . Get the ridge to pop in the west and bam.

Getting snow along the coast at this time of the year is like threading a needle. All of the players have to be on board. Good luck with it! I think this starts as snow and goes over to slop or rain out there. Its not impossible that this ends up mostly snow along the coast- it is just not the most likely outcome. Very early yet but that would be my first thought.
