We probably had a 3+ inch per hour rate last night about 11pm. Took the new guy with me on the road plowing, told him this is probably the worst visibility u would have to work in. I wasn't even sure I was plowing the road 😂

I hope no one here is one if those people who shovel or snowblow everything back into the road after the plow guys clears the road and salts it. I see it all the time, I ask nicely to not do it once I'm done. Get nothing but attitudes or lame excuses like "where can I blow the snow?". Uh maybe your giant front yard next to your driveway. Wish its legal to slap these people from the truck. And yet they wonder when they go back inside , everything they put in the road is now.back at bottom of driveway

Saw a ton of that driving around yesterday. Has to be infuriating for you guys after you bust your a$$es to get the roads cleared. Zero regard or consideration for others and sheer laziness.

In the suburbs where people generally have decent sized lawns/yards and a lot of space to put the snow, i totally understand. However, in the city, often times there is literally nowhere else to put it.
You're only young once, but you have your whole life to be immature!

True...but oftentimes, I notice that those city dwellers with limited space will make more of an effort not to throw it on the street than those with plenty of room on the lawn.

When I lived in Queens you had no choice but to toss it into the street.
