They are talking on american about a trend toward plain rain. Hope that makes it up this way and further as I do not want to see a repeat of December 2019.

Still under ice storm warning here. They bumped it down to .25 inch of ice. Yesterday was .50 . here's my point and click forecast now

TonightFreezing rain before 1am, then rain. Temperature rising to around 35 by 5am. Light and variable wind. Chance of precipitation is 100%. Little or no ice accumulation expected.

28 degrees with a light mist. All surfaces are glazed at my house but roads are fine. NWS keeps lowering ZR accreation levels so this is turning into a nothing burger. Looks like the trend for Thursday is a more southerly and east track which keeps us colder which hopefully translates to some decent snows.

Hoping this turns into not a big deal like the trend seems to be. Meanwhile I have no power at my house still since 10-11am or so due to power issues in Vernon. Thursday looking snowy.

Weird. My Mom just lost hers at 5:30 - apparently all of the Sussex Rural area is out right now - and my wife just texted me and said a big part of Jefferson is out.
But there isn't much ice yet.......
Ok, this is strange.

Pittsburgh PA is mixing too. That area was initially expecting snowstorm. This storm has moved so far west I wonder if we largely miss most of the precip to our west

Getting to work was ok. As I got closer to Middletown NY I did see a car in a ditch. Roads slick. The cold air at the surface is tough to erode.
