This is looking like a good sized event with plenty of snow and freezing precipitation. Could be a prolonged event also.

Actually we are under a Warning here for 5--8. But, Passaic county is in an Advisory for 5-9".

Exactly, this is a prolonged event and may not meet that criteria. At this point Upton seems to think that.

The forecast spread seems uncomfortably static. Is this going to be a surprise 12-16 or a half inch sleet bust?

Now warning is for up to 6 radar doesn't look good for us. I think that 195 area will do best. Too dry up here.
