THE AVERAGE TEMPERATURE THIS PAST NOVEMBER IN CENTRAL PARK NY WAS
51.2 DEGREES. THIS RANKS 9TH ON RECORD FOR WARMEST NOVEMBERS. THE
WARMEST NOVEMBER ON RECORD WAS BACK IN 2001 WHEN THE AVERAGE SOARED
TO 52.7 DEGREES.

ONLY 4 OF THE 30 DAYS THIS PAST NOVEMBER WERE COLDER THAN
AVERAGE...WITH SIX DAYS REACHING 60 DEGREES OR HIGHER.

IN ADDITION TO BEING RELATIVELY MILD...IT WAS ALSO RELATIVELY DRY.
ONLY 1.61 INCHES OF RAIN FELL. THIS IS 2.75 INCHES BELOW NORMAL.
THIS RANKS AS THE 19TH DRIEST ON RECORD.

The problem with November was the warm nights. It was cloudy way too often, which didn't let the temps drop.

It wasn't really that warm during the day.
