great trip with friends to a beautiful part of the country. very minimal snow so that was my only downer. skiing and snowmobiling was terrific. john and mike you attend school in a very cool place, but i can see why john my get sick of the snow as it probably can get old very quick. well back in time to as what the local vt newscastes were calling the storm of the century! time to catch up on all the weeks model huggers

Glad that you had a great time! Just too bad there wasn't more snow and better skiing conditions! And now you can enjoy this storm down in NJ!

How much snow was on the ground in that area? When i was up there i drove through St. Johnsbury and Lydonville and then out through where that Coles Pond webcam is. All really nice areas.

At the college we have 7" on the ground.

Just eye balling it, I'd say we have about 4-6" on the ground.
Yea, this area really is beautiful and the amazing winter we've been having (so many sunny days so far I've lost count) is keeping me in a very good mood. Even when we do get snow it hasn't been too bad, and it's generally just an overnight coating and it's gone by that afternoon.
If you guys are ever in the area again, try to check out the small towns north of Lyndonville.
East/West Burke, up through Lake Willoughby are beautiful. Rolling hills and steep mountains with deep valleys.
Went up to Willoughby yesterday, awesome day for a drive around the Kingdom.

we went to a town 15 minute north of burke(forgot what it was)
ate at the pub outback one night....pretty decent food.
