Summer, what does that project the actual average to be for Feb.?
2011-2012 Accumulating Snow and Ice

October 29: 3.0 inches
January 21 - 3.1 inches
February 8 - 0.75 inches
February 11 - 0.5 Inches
Total to-date - 7.4 inches

Lowest temperature -- January 4: 10 F

That number's probably going to be -8.00 at the very least by Monday morning. We're looking at -5/-6 highs the next few days with overnights lows around -5 departures; totaling up to around -20/-25 or so by Tuesday. If anything we're headed up the ranks in terms of top coldest February's the next several days.

Not to mention -- say we finish -8 for this month, that would negate most of the positive departure (+11 I believe) from Dec/Jan combined. So we'd finish the meteorological winter (DJF) around +1 to +3. One of those winters where the three month departure definitely doesn't tell the tale of how the pattern evolved. LOL.
