I am up in Bromley, VT so I won't be updating much because I will be skiing tomorrow, but I have heard multiple reports of moderate snow around Philadelphia.

Everybody (OK lots not everybody) is poo pooing Lonnie Quin's forecast but he was right with the last storm when everyone (TV METs and posters on here) were calling for 6 - 12 inches...he said 2 inches if that and he was the closest. Not even Brill Evans got even close with his 3 - 6.

Now I am hopeful as the next guy for a crippler of 2 feet but lets have a REALITY CHECK here...mixing will be an issue even in NYC with this coastal hugger...always is! I have been saying this all day and everyone has been saying I am fixated on the mix...well now lots of METs coming on board with the mixing.

Another storm without Stormchaser's input. You know what ticks me off is the last storm was a slam dunk, there was no waffling back and forth like this BS Storm. We got 1 lousy run saying it would be close to the coast and everyone is gonna jump off there roof. Lets see what the models spit out tonight.

I can vouch for Shadow...no snow in Washington Township/Oxford Warren County from that band...at least up here.

?? What about my statement is false? Did he and Ch. 2 call for like almost no snow the last go arond for NYC? So now I disagree with other's opinion and I need a timeout? I am a weenie?

Guys you need to let other views in here...I know everyone is snow biased and so am I but I just want to bring a little reality check into the discussion.

Look out your window again, it is now snowing. Lightly but it's a start lol. That moderate band just moistened it enough.

OK exactly what do I and a few other METs not know what we are talking about? I am not the only one calling for a possible mix in NYC...I am saying that should be in the discussion thread as it is a possibility with the winds coming off the ocean for phase 1 of the storm. Phase two I agree is all snow.

      That's better. You clarified yourself.

For the next time, please be more specific.

sure mixing is a possibility in nyc, but i dont know if any models are even showing this. You have no facts to back up your statement, and you pretty much sound like you are trolling the thread a little bit.
