I'll tell you one place I'm stopping into for cake is Carlos bakery in Hoboken. That Cake Boss TV show from the bakery is phenomenal and the cakes he's created are unbelievable. The Disney cake, the mob boss cake, the Grucci cake of NYC with foreworks, and the Sesame cake are the favorites that I've seen.

Look at some of these specialty cakes and these are simpleton compared to what he's done on the show:

Some more elaborate ones, just keep hitting 10 and more pop up. The roulette board and wheel, which actually spun is the mob boss cake:

It's a great show. He also has been doing a stage tour that's supposedly very good.

Once I was in a convenience store in Seoul, Korea and they had sealed plastic snack packs containing crackers, dip, and fried grasshoppers.

I was going to buy one and bring it home but I was afraid US customs might catch me. You're not supposed to bring in "meat."
