looks stronger and colder compare to 12z run. I have no clue about surface temps thou.

storm its getting better and better for monmouth, i think we'll definetley get a watch now.

After this storm departs 48hrs, we get on and off snow shower until 72hrs. It will feel like winter for couple of days.

Storm - that precip amount is getting big now. I just looked briefly and it looks like a stronger coastal pulling in more cold air than any previous run. I'm real busy but anxious to see your analysis later. Looks like snow to a mix and then to hvy snow on a quick look.

Ice - now we just need the GFS trending towards the NAM solution, and it's game on in terms of snowfall. Will probably wait until after 00z before I make a call on the storm.

Njblizzard -- 6-9" for gray area. Blue is 10"+ around Trenton and the second maximum over southern tier of PA. 3-5" green region. Yellow is 2-3".

No question that the 18z NAM was a great run -- brings both the 850 and 540 lines south of us. Should we believe? I hope so but still have big doubts. The 00z runs tonight will be all-important.
