Although TWC is highly criticized, they are usually correct. The last storm for my area, they nailed! So just because you aren't getting the amount of snow you want, doesn't mean that TWC is wrong. They don't hype the forecast like everyone of you people does including all the news stations!

They nailed what ?? They had a high of 38, my high was 25. They had snow quickly going to rain, with minimal sleet or freezing rain and it never rained. 48 hours before that storm they had a 40% chance of showers which is exactly what they forecasted today for tomorrow night and Monday. TWC is incapable of nailing anything because they don't forecast storms in advance. In fact if you click on their site they often bypass night time forecsats going from say Monday to Tuesday. People have great disrespect for TWC because they are a joke not because they don't say what anyone wants to hear. Now the TWC that existed in the 1980's thru the mid 1990's was a totally different story. They were excellent and called storms with details and took risks well in advance. Everyone tuned them in beacuse they made weather interesting. They were the talk of parties back then. Today's TWC is nothing more than an ad channel with ridiculous forecsats and stories about weather.

No more Kocin. That was some kind of special they were running. It was pre-recorded. Their timing was pretty good though. Don't you think?

I would really like to know where Kocin is now. I remember him and that raspy voice. He really gave good coverage of impending storms. Ah, the good ol' days!
