14 here. Only 3 more days to reach "average" for central NJ, 17.

A list of locations thus far for 90+ days through today. Ice - you're probably neck and neck with Philly and Newark since you had several low 90s when I was 88-89.

Storm - you are way lower than me. I'm much more in line with Philly. I'm sure there's a bunch of near misses for you but what is real hard to understand is how you only have 1 more 90 degree day than Anthony, who's on the Brooklyn shore, prone to seabreezes much more easily and has been north of a lot of the late spring heat, and his temps should be more in-line with JFK, which is way different than monmouth county in spring and summer. Except for big snowstorms, I'm a terrible record keeper of weather stats so I really d'ont track this.

16 here and today did not make it four 100 degree days. Last year I had 10 the whole year with most of them coming midway thru August.

Ice, JFK (where Anthony takes his obs from) is usually much cooler than us as you said. But this year we've had virtually no sea breezes. Almost all of the 90+ days were on W/NW winds, keeping western Long Island hot. There were also one or two days w/ NWLY winds where JFK hit 90 and I was 89. The immediate coast tends to be hottest on NW winds.

Otherwise, the 4-5 days in early June were basically all 88s-89s for me, so that brings you up to 20 right there. It seems like a big difference between the two of us, but in reality it's probably a handful of days I was no more than 1-1.5 degrees cooler than you.

I lost track. Lets say 25+. In reality it's easier to track days under 90 then over 90 right now.

If I had known that this season had the potential to approach or break records, I would have counted the 90 degree days more accurately.

I believe I'm over 20 here too, like Ice.

Yesterday evening, News 12 posted a list that had New Brunswick at 23 to-date. The nearest Wunderground station to me, in Edison, has 24.
2011-2012 Accumulating Snow and Ice

October 29: 3.0 inches
January 21 - 3.1 inches
February 8 - 0.75 inches
February 11 - 0.5 Inches
Total to-date - 7.4 inches

Lowest temperature -- January 4: 10 F

Same here. When the first heatwave broke I never imagined we'd get so many 90 degree temps so close together. All I know is I'm in double figures. Not sure exactly how many though.
