Looks like a good chance of storms area wide the next couple of days. Currently Western Jersey and Eastern PA looks to be getting hammered with some nasty ones.

Chances are really the next 24-30 hours. Models will not pick-up well on slowly moving localized drenching downpours. Both ARW and NMM are best suited for this and they both show pockets of 3-4" rains with much lesser .25-5" not too far away from those embedded pockets. In this situation regional or localized heavy rains are much more favored than wide-spread heavy rains.
Anyway it better rain. 95-100 temps are back in play late week, and it really looks hot all of next week too. Oppressively humid and tropical out there right now.

Some decent showers beginning now. I may actually get something out of this.
Went outside. Dark grey clouds overhead are moving very rapidily from the south.

If this misses me I give up completely. Already a forerunner band of heavy rain working south to north fell apart right on my doorstep. All I got out of it was some light rain and it was 50dbz rain as it got on top of me. But this area working in from the west has caused Mt Holly to put up a flood advisory for my area.
