Look at this radar and tell me how hudson valley isnt gonna get at least 4-6 inches? That plume of moisture coming from the South is heading right through jersey and towards eastern NY eventually, no? I really think some area could get over a foot if temps stay at forecasted range. My totals are this, NYC 2-3 (mixing will happen, just look at past history), Central Jersey (Bingo-8-12, locally 13-15), Long Island 1-2 (major mixing will happen, even if night storm), orange county NY and Dutchess County, NY 6-9. Western Jersey will get 4-7 as moisture may skirt by to east a bit. Coastal Jersey same as NYC. Not an expert at all, just what I see from past history of storms and looking at this radar.

Models have been completely wrong all year. I go with past history of watching storms.
