Wow i really thought it would come along with a shorter reg season sched (153 games). Guess not. I know they don't want to lose dates because of the revenue but the season is too long.

Selig's quote almost makes me laugh:

When you give the players everything they want and then some you're buying peace. The resuts are the haves (100-200mln payrolls) and have nots (25-70mln payrolls) and a middle road in between. And with it you'll have teams on the brink of bankruptcy or simply cutting spending to a minimum and making major annuity earnings year after year with cheap payrolls. As for MLB making so much money it's the majority rule. 80% of the money is made by 20% of the teams, or maybe it's 65-35 but you get the idea.
