Okay sense many are asking about whats going on with this storm for LI, NCNJ, Northern NJ..heres the thread that i hope all momouth county posters who dont know what to expect..should expect..

as of 11:30..my current think is that a generally 3-6" for the county is doable...its 33º on my weatherbug, which is out of Middletown South(my high school)..

i dont not expect any rain at any point during this system. sleet is a possiblity around 2 am tonight..however..it seems to be colder then progged..which is beginning toled me to think that it will stay below freezing with cold air damming throughou the storm..

if this were to say all snow..there is a possibility that momouth could have the jackpot...in correlation with this the models all season have been giving the NW bigger amount..and its ended up that Monmouth gets the worst.. im nto saying that this is going to happen with this storm..but i wouldnt be surprised if it happened again..

for those how are students in monmouth county... right now i would go with 70/30 no school tomrrow... especially if sleet mixes in...

im in middletown too, i don't even know what to expect because everything is borderline right now, but judging from some of the all snow reports in virginia and maryland i think we could break 3-6 inches like you said

Rob, completely agree. See the thread by Brett and myself:

I'm also thinking 3-6" for Monmouth county - mostly snow, some sleet mixing in.
