Hey All,
Just got back in from NE PA. Was drving out on I-80 on thursday night and it was drizzling. I got to northern Warren county and continued driving west towards PA when I began climbing this hill (I think it was part of the Schooley's Mtn range) when drizzle quickly turned into heavy snow. Cars we're pulled over to the side of the road as the snow was blinding. Inch or two on the ground. It's amazing what elevation will do to precip type.
Anyway-- 32.5 here in NE Queens; temps not moving much. I am thinking all snow for NYC west. I think the rain/snow line is going to be similar to last storm, come into SE nassau and hault. We'll see. Going to catch up on some old posts now.

The temps will start to fall when the sun goes down so don't worry too much about that. It doesn't look like it'll get to you before then from the radar.

34 in Wantage but that does not mean anything. Last strom I was like 9 with sleet. I actualy like a little warmer temps. It seems when we are real cold for these storms the precip takes forever to reach us and I end up with barly any snow.

Sounds like it was the Allamuchy Range. Schooly is more south of 80.

Shawn -- Spoke to Bryan via PM. It was allamuchy mountain. Even as I was coming home today, I noticed more snowcover atop that peak then compared to lower elevations.
