Ny, the low hasnt formed yet. This isn't the precip for us. We arent getting the precip until around midnight. I think this is right from what I have read. Wait for the low to form. I felt same way a few minutes ago, but I think I see some precip filling in to the west again. That will eventually head up the coast.

Problem is precip is not supposed to be very heavy once the storm develops. Supposed to be a long drawn out light-moderate event. Low not progged to get very strong. If this precip misses most of the area, storm & robbbs call for 4-8" is in trouble. We'll see.

hey yankee

I am still progging 2 to 5 inches in our area, i cant see how we can get more than nyc or long island unless they get sleet and our snow ratios are higher, trust me take 2 to 5 and be happy we are getting that.

I see what you mean RGWP but my point is that the initial batch of precip (which is going to glance NYC & miss most northern sections) is going to put down a nice amount of initial snow in central/south jersey. This could ultimately alter final totals from NYC points N&W as most accumulation would have to come from the developing coastal. Tonight should be intertesting.
