Earlier they had all snow on Monday now they have a mix? could this be why?

Summer, although they have an advisory that does not mean they will get more/less snow, all it means is that the event is definitely going to happen and that people should be advised and use caution

summer..the difference is Mt. Holly,NJ covers monmouth county, while Upton,LI covers your area..you guys will obviously go over to a warning once Upton gets its act together.
