Hit a high of 52 degrees today, felt good. Now the sun has gone behind the clouds, which helps preserve the snowpack.

After a brief shower or two the sun is trying to come out and the temperature is up to 46 degrees. Still plenty of snow but less than half of the original amount.

51 here now in Queens after a brief low of 44. Snowpack is dwindling. Could be more this weekend though.

Very mild weekend. A lot of snow melted, but still quite of bit on the ground. Cold air has arrive and is here to stay now.

Back to mild today, making four of the last five days above normal. The snowpack continues to fade away. Still have about 3-4 inches.

Another forecast bust with temps today -- my NWS area forecast called for highs in the mid and upper 30's, yet it reached 41. Back in the upper 30's here now but 95% of NJ is in the 40's. I posted some time ago to not downplay the mild spell to follow the blizzard and the reality is that it's been a steady and huge decrease in snow depths for everyone in just one week.

Still a ton of mounds of snow around here. But a far cry from what it we had.

Did not lose much snow today because it was a mostly cloudy day until the afternoon. My high did get to 43 degrees.
